RMRR Trophy Series

Run
Waterton Canyon
RMRR Trophy Series Race
Time: 1:16:45
Distance: 10 Miles
Mile 1: 6:15, Mile 2: 7:04, Mile 3: 7:11, Mile 4: 7:48, Mile 5: 8:32, Mile 6: 7:08, Mile 7: 8:19, Mile 8: 8:10, Mile 9: 8:26, Mile 10: 7:54

I learned a few things about my running today. First, I should try to push it too hard at the start. My first mile was way too fast. I could not keep that pace. My breathing got out of control and I just ran out of steam. Second, wind stinks! The first five miles were uphill and the wind was right in your face.

Last year I did the race in 1:15:53. This was almost the same as last year. My predict time for the race today was supposed to be 1:05. That is much faster than what I could produce. Cramps were pretty bad today. Everyone was struggling today, so I knew I wasn't the only one.

Good take-home lesson.

And I bet you moved up in percentile ranking!
